Music is definitely something I could never live without. I hate walking or driving with no music playing. If one of my favorite artist is on tour I do my best to make it nothing beats live music for me. I've always loved music but my love for it grew deeper when I picked up an instrument. In the 6th grade, I started playing Cello and over the years I gained a deeper love with music.
I played Cello until I graduated high school and it helped me want to expand what I listen to. I used to just listen to rap and some rock in middle school but I never wanted to go beyond that. Until I grew up some more and tried other genres. It just clicked in my head one day because a lot of what we played in orchestra was classical music and then that made me try other genres and not just stay in my little music bubble.
Now I just listen to whatever my main playlist is an adventure now. I do have trouble with naming genres because I stopped paying attention it's all about the vibe for me now whether it's hype, chill, or somewhere in between. I'm grateful for the instrument I played because without it I doubt my love for music would run so deep.
